Harrisburg man arrested for alleged attempted homicide outside Cumberland County sport complex

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A Harrisburg man is facing multiple charges after a shooting late Saturday night outside the Carlisle Sports Emporium in Middlesex Township, according to a post on Middlesex Township Police Department’s Crimewatch.

Middlesex Township Police said officers were dispatched at 10:42 p.m. to 29 S. Middlesex Road for a reported shooting. Investigators said that a physical altercation had taken place outside the business involving several people.

Police said a male, identified as 21-year-old Naeem Thomas of Harrisburg, pulled a handgun during the altercation and fired a shot, striking another individual. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. No information on the victim’s condition was released…
