FOUNTAIN INN, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Officers with the Fountain Inn police department said they responded to a shooting near a gas station.
Police said that shortly after 5 p.m., officers responded to reported gunshots along Bryson Drive. Officers said that once on scene, they found a victim lying in the driveway of the Circle K gas station at 1300 N. Main Street.
According to police, the victim had several gunshot wounds.
The Fountain Inn Police Department said it received information on where the shooter may have gone after the incident with the help of the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers said a 16-year-old was taken into custody and that this appears to be an isolated incident with no danger to the public…
