FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY THURSDAY: Cold Front Brings Potential for Flooding

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – It’s still hot and humid ahead of a cold front that brings heavy rain Wednesday night into Thursday. Thursday is a First Alert Weather Day for the potential for flooding. It’s cooler late this week into the weekend as rain chances linger.

Tuesday: Hot & Humid & Mainly Dry

Today stays hot and humid, with highs climbing to the mid 90s for the Upstate and foothills of the mountains.

Heat index values spike above 100°, particularly along and south of the I-85 corridor, where a few readings could touch 105°.

The mountains stay slightly cooler in the upper 80s. Sunshine dominates most of the day, though we can’t rule out an isolated afternoon storm. Any storms that do pop could have damaging straight-line winds…
