A proposed moratorium on new data center development in Pulaski County did not pass after officials discovered a voting miscalculation following this week’s Quorum Court meeting.
Pulaski County Clerk Terri Hollingsworth announced Thursday that Ordinance 26-I-37, which would have imposed a temporary moratorium on applications for data centers in unincorporated areas of the county, failed to receive the number of votes required for approval.
