Arkansas: The Natural State Surge

Significant expansion in technology, aviation and manufacturing are reshaping Arkansas’ economic landscape. These projects include significant capital investments and are expected to generate hundreds of permanent jobs, reflecting continued momentum in infrastructure-driven growth.

In January 2026, AVAIO Digital Partners announced a major new data center hub, AVAIO Digital Leo, aimed at accelerating the state’s fast-growing tech sector. Located in Wrightsville, just south of Little Rock, the 760-acre campus will host the compute, networking, data storage technologies, and power infrastructure that underpin cloud computing and artificial intelligence applications.

The project is to be developed in several phases, starting with an initial $6 billion investment for infrastructure, power, and tenant deployments. Over the next five years, the campus is expected to bring more than 500 permanent operations jobs, along with construction jobs across the region.

AVAIO is currently contracted with Entergy Arkansas for 150 MW of power, with the company anticipating power demand of up to 1 GW as the facility grows…
