Gas prices drop 35 cents in Akron, 27 cents in Cleveland: Here’s what GasBuddy is saying

AKRON, Ohio — Gas prices have dropped across Northeast Ohio, but Akron and Cleveland are still holding above the national average.

Drivers in Akron are now paying an average of $4.32 per gallon after prices went down 35.9 cents compared to last week, according to new data released by GasBuddy early Monday.

Cleveland’s average is now listed at $4.45 per gallon after GasBuddy reports a drop of 27.2 cents in the last week. This is 44.9 cents cheaper than a month ago, but $1.51 higher than a year ago…
