Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibition enters final week in Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Charleston’s annual Piccolo Spoleto Outdoor Art Exhibition is heading into its final week, but the energy at Marion Square is still going strong. After days of large crowds, vibrant creativity, and one-of-a-kind artwork, both artists and visitors say the festival continues to be a standout celebration of local talent.

The festival kicked off May 22 and has since transformed Marion Square into a colorful hub of culture often compared to Italy’s renowned Festival of Two Worlds. Artists say each year brings more variety, from oil paintings to watercolors, drawing in steady foot traffic and connecting creators with the community.
