TOLEDO, Ohio — A driver was taken to the hospital after crashing into a utility pole overnight in central Toledo.
The crash occurred before 2:30 a.m. in the 200 block of East Bancroft Street near Jerome Road. Authorities said a 69-year-old woman drove her vehicle off the the roadway and struck a utility pole, shearing it off at the base.
The driver was transported to a hospital for evaluation…
