SPOKANE, Wash. — People who live in the City of Spokane will need to keep an eye on how much water they are using starting Monday, June 1.
The City’s water restrictions officially go into effect on Monday. The restrictions date back to an ordinance the Spokane City Council approved in 2022 in efforts to protect the city’s water. The rules are also in effect to reduce peak water use during the summer and reduce the impact on the Spokane River.
Restrictions are in effect from June 1 through October 1 and apply to each City of Spokane water customer, residential, commercial, multi-family, etc…
