Just in time for a bright and sunny Cleveland summer, Akron Honey is turning up the heat on one of the region’s favorite burgers.
Following Swensons Drive-In’s string of collaborations with Cleveland powerhouses like Cordelia, Cleveland Kitchen and Larder Delicatessen & Bakery, the Akron-based burger joint is teaming up a little closer to home this month. Starting June 1, all Swensons locations will offer a specialty menu featuring a Hot Honey Burg ($7.99), which is piled high with grilled onions, cheese, tomato, the restaurant’s famous Potato Teezers and a hot honey-infused sauce cultivated by Akron Honey founder Brent Wesley.
