AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) – Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich announced Monday the sentencing for an Akron man who was found guilty for a 2025 murder.
According to the persecutor’s office, 32-year-old Martinez Williams was found guilty in the 2025 murder of 24-year-old Ontario Bailey inside an apartment building.
Williams was found guilty of the following:
- One count of murder with a 3-year firearm specification
- One count of felonious assault with a 3-year firearm specification
- One count of tampering with evidence
- One count of having weapons while under disability
He was sentenced to life in prison with the eligibility for parole in 21 years.
