Middleburg Bank Robbery Suspect Charged with Stealing $50K From Parents

The man accused of being the getaway driver for three area bank robberies and who was on the run for several weeks is now accused of stealing over $50,000 from his parents.

Paul Gerardi is charged in connection with the March 24 robbery at the Truist Bank in Middleburg and bank robberies in Prince William and Fairfax Counties. His partner in the alleged robberies died by suicide as deputies surrounded his Hamilton home in April.

Gerardi failed to appear in court and was wanted as a fugitive before being recaptured last week…
