The wrong-way crash involving a Massachusetts State Police cruiser on Route 1 this weekend left the fiancée of late Trooper Kevin Trainor sickened — not only was he killed in a nearly identical situation miles down the highway a few weeks beforehand, but Trainor and the other trooper were friends.
“They were very close. They would call each other every day,” Jessica Ostrowski told NBC10 Boston Monday.
