With the school year a wrap, eyes now turn towards the new Christian Co. High School

With one school year behind us, closing the door on a year of final events and goodbyes, eyes now turn towards the future as the two high schools are set to become one in August, when the new high school is set to open to students.

Christian County Public Schools Superintendent Chris Bentzel spoke with WHOP Radio Monday morning, and says while the weather played mischief with their graduation plans, staff, administrators and students and their families were able to quickly pivot back to the gymnasiums. He says they turned out to be something really special, and he hopes they were able to send both schools and graduates off with a bang.

Now, it’s pedal to floor to get the final touches down on the new Christian County High School, being built at Lovers Lane and Fort Campbell Boulevard, as students will be looking to begin class there come August 19…
