OLIVE BRANCH, Miss. — A Memphis wildlife removal company set a new record last month, removing nearly two dozen raccoons from one Olive Branch house.
Joyce McCrory said in February she began hearing strange noises and contacted the animal experts when she realized she had a serious raccoon problem.
“They were having a party in my attic. I could hear furniture moving around. I could hear scraping between the walls, and it was just constant. All the time,” said McCrory.

Dan Morgan with Ranger Wildlife Removal & Prevention captured pictures of some mama raccoons and their babies who had made themselves at home in McCrory’s attic. In a video recording, you can hear the cubs crying.
“They love her attic. It’s nice and comfy, got lots of insulation, and so they have found a safe place to use as an Airbnb,” said Dan Morgan.
Morgan said the fur bandits also caused significant damage inside and outside the house. He discovered at least five holes along the roofline and one in the soffit that they dug out to enter the house, as well as damage to multiple foundation vents…
