Two people under federal quarantine in Nebraska following possible hantavirus exposure are being transported to New York state to complete their monitoring period, according to New York City Health Commissioner Dr. Alister Martin.
The individuals will finish their 42-day monitoring and quarantine period at personal residences outside of New York City, Martin said in a statement Tuesday. City, state and county officials coordinated the transportation.
