Jackson developer mum on site of proposed tech hub; says it’s in the metro area

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A Jackson developer won’t say where he plans to build his tech campus, even as rumors swirl that it’s located in West Jackson.

On Monday, Gabriel Prado spoke to reporters, days after the Mississippi Public Service Commission denied his request for a declaratory opinion on whether he could build a natural gas power plant at the proposed site.

Prado’s comments also come as some groups on social media are questioning whether he is behind plans to build a data center on a 190-acre site along Forest Avenue…
