ST. LOUIS – A well-known St. Louis eatery woke up to a window shattered by an individual early Monday morning.
The Steve’s Hot Dogs location along South Grand Boulevard posted to social media that someone had walked up to their business just before 3:15 a.m., threw an object at the window and ran away as glass fell.
“Business has been incredibly tough lately with never-ending Spire and water construction and reduced foot traffic here,” the business said. “Waking up to this feels like a punch in the gut. But we know this one person doesn’t represent our neighborhood.”
