Local Latina-owned beer company closing its doors

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Atrevida Beer Company in Colorado Springs has announced it will be closing its doors after eight years of memories and award-winning brews.

Jessica Fierro opened Atrevida Beer Company in 2018 as the first Latina-owned brewery in the state after experimenting with home brewing. Since then, the brewery has earned numerous accolades, including being named the 2024 Hispanic Veteran-Owned Business of the Year by the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Fierro also won FOX21’s Remarkable Women of Southern Colorado award in 2023.
