CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) – Starting July 1, anyone needing to go to the Nevada Department of Taxation office in Carson City will need to make an appointment.
Department officials say the change is intended to enhance customer service by reducing wait times and improving scheduling flexibility.
The Carson City office’s transition to appointment-only service will not affect operations at the Reno and Las Vegas offices. Taxpayers may continue to visit those locations on a walk-in basis during normal business hours…
