To sell or not to sell: Whitehall commissioners debate whether to offload 2 properties

WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – During their workshop meeting Monday night, Whitehall Township commissioners discussed two resolutions and whether it would be in the township’s best interest to sell property.

One property involves 43 acres at 2655 Range Road, which is vacant and undeveloped land currently. The land is along Eberhart Road and Range Road and include the Cameron Tract, the former Whitehall Golf Center and other specific contiguous parcels.

Commissioner Ken Snyder said selling the property would potentially provide “value” to the township. Monday night’s bill would begin the process to discover the property’s value in the market…
