LEXINGTON, S.C. — The Town of Lexington is considering a new fee for people attending events at the Icehouse Amphitheater, with town leaders saying the additional revenue could help cover maintenance and future improvements at the popular venue.
Town officials say the amphitheater attracts thousands of visitors from outside Lexington each year, prompting discussion about whether those attendees should help pay for the facility’s upkeep.
