Clay, N.Y. — The Clay Town Board on Monday took key steps toward putting guardrails on two contentious issues facing Onondaga County’s largest suburb: the rapid spread of electricity-hungry data centers and battery energy storage projects.
Residents of Clay will get the chance later this month to give their opinions on possible data centers at a public hearing as the town considers a yearlong moratorium.
