Additional seating, baggage claim upgrades happening at Eugene Airport

The Eugene Airport will use a $2 million grant from the Federal Aviation Administration to upgrade its baggage claim area. The project, currently in design, is part of a planned overhaul intended to make Oregon’s second busiest airport ready to accommodate more passengers and flights.

Airport officials believe the upgrades will result in more destinations and fewer layovers for Eugene travelers.
