Neighbors Divided, Birmingham Council Says No to Proposed Antique Store

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBMA) — A proposal to convert a home in Birmingham’s Forest Park South Avondale neighborhood into a boutique antique store was rejected Tuesday after residents and city leaders debated whether the project belonged in a residential area.
