Former Jeffco deputy indicted in DUI crash that hurt 3, narrowly missed school bus

A former Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputy has been indicted in a DUI crash that injured three people, including a young woman and her teen brother.

Shamonte D. Lanfair, 34, is charged with two counts of first-degree assault. The indictments were issued May 14 and made public Tuesday.
