NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for confining a woman to her North Charleston hotel room and assaulting her for several days.
Shandell Broadway was charged with kidnapping and domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and pleaded guilty on June 2.
North Charleston officers responded to the Hawthorne Suites on Northwoods Boulevard in relation to a domestic violence incident in November of 2024.
