Grand Rapids man pleads guilty in counterfeit bill scheme

BENZIE COUNTY, Mich — A Grand Rapids man recently pleaded guilty to making thousands of dollars in counterfeit money in Michigan.

Matthew Wilson, 57, faced five counts of uttering and publishing a state warrant in Benzie County. He pleaded guilty to one of those counts, and the other four were dismissed, court records show.
