MAYODAN, N.C. — Mayodan leaders discussed putting future data center development on hold during a recent town council meeting while they take a closer look at how those projects could affect the town.
Town documents show leaders proposed a temporary 60-day moratorium on data centers and other high-impact facilities while staff develops new regulations.
