Lancaster County man pleads guilty to defrauding government out of more than $741,000 in pandemic assistance funds

PHILADELPHIA — A Lancaster County man faces up to 40 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to defrauding the government out of more than $741,000 in pandemic assistance funds.

Krandon Wenger, 25, of Lititz, pleaded guilty to two counts of wire fraud Tuesday at a hearing before federal judge Joseph F. Leeson Jr. in Philadelphia, according to U.S. Attorney David Metcalf.
