This week, the federal government rolled out new work requirement rules for SNAP recipients.
To receive full benefits, adults between the ages of 18 and 64 need to work or take part in an approved job training program. Those who do not meet the requirements will be limited to receiving SNAP benefits for just three months in any three year period.
