ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — On Tuesday, the Roanoke Police Department announced the arrest of one of the men injured in a shooting outside a Northwest convenience store and gas station.
Police said on May 26, at approximately 6:16 p.m., officers responded to the 1800 block of Cove Road NW for the report of a shooting outside of a gas station. Police learned that two men with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds were being taken by personal vehicles to local hospitals. Further investigation determined the shooting incident initially started outside of a convenience store in the 1700 block of Cove Road NW.
Detectives determined a group of men was in a convenience store parking lot in the 1700 block of Cove Road NW when another man approached them and began firing into the group. Multiple men in the group then returned fire. At this time, investigators believe this was a targeted incident, police said…
