ELKO COUNTY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A Utah man was killed in a crash in Elko County early Monday morning.
Troopers with the Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a report of a crash on I-80 near Elko County mile marker 109. This location is approximately 23 miles west of West Wendover around 5 a.m. on June 1.
A preliminary investigation determined that a gold Oldsmobile Alero was traveling eastbound on I-80 in the leftmost travel lane. Authorities say the Oldsmobile failed to maintain its travel lane and drove into the dirt center median, striking a metal paddle marker with its left side…
