Lane County shelter’s new push to get large dogs adopted faster

LANE COUNTY, Ore. – Greenhill Humane Society is launching a summer-long campaign to help large dogs find homes faster.

The “More to Love: A Large Dog Success Initiative” runs from June 1 through Aug. 31. According to Greenhill Humane Society, the program is funded by a grant from Hill’s Science Diet and aims to reduce barriers that prevent large dogs from getting adopted.
