PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A legal battle between an outdoor apparel brand and the Bend-based drag queen of a similar name is continuing to play out online.
Patagonia announced over social media on Sunday night that it would drop its lawsuit against Pattie Gonia if she withdraws her trademark applications, terminates use of the company’s logo, and stops selling and promoting products under her name.

“If we can agree on this, we can work out everything else, and Pattie Gonia could continue as a performer and activist,” Patagonia said, in part. “We share common ground with them, including the goal of saving our home planet and creating a more inclusive outdoors.”
