At the next meeting of the Weaverville Garden Club, Christopher Mello of Marshall Native Gardens will share how you can use native plants to attract desired wildlife and pollinators while managing pests.
Marshall Native Gardens comprises 4.2 acres of native plant demonstration gardens and community educational gardens that include walking paths and themed gardens.
An Asheville native, Mello has worked as a nurseryman and floral designer at Biltmore Estate and as a garden restorer at the the gardens by Lake Kenilworth.
