ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills often have visitors dropping in at practices in Orchard Park. It’s not always the case that the visitor is a Buffalo native with one of the most prestigious awards in sports.
“They’re in shock and then they hold it and they’re like, ‘wow, that’s heavy’ every time,” said Buffalo native Hayley Scamurra of her Olympic gold medal. “It’s just so much fun and usually it’s everyone’s first time holding a gold medal and so I get to like share that with them.”
