Brook Park close to approving I-X Center deal with Cleveland

BROOK PARK, Ohio (WOIO) – Following a Tuesday night vote, Brook Park City Council is one vote away from approving a deal with the City of Cleveland that would end a decades long battle.

City officials from both Brook Park and Cleveland said this will help create a “stable framework” for future development near the I-X Center and surrounding area.

“I think it brings up the whole area when you talk about Hopkins International Airport and the renovation that they’re making tied with the domed stadium it enhances our front door,” Brook Park Mayor Edward Orcutt said. “It’s a great gateway to Northeast Ohio.”…
