Woman told Harrisburg police a suspected killer had a gun weeks before fatal bus stop shooting

A woman said she told police Jeremiah “JJ” Moran, 16, had a gun and was making threats weeks before police say he ambushed and fatally shot a classmate at a Harrisburg school bus stop.

Jahaira Cortes, of Harrisburg, said she called police on May 7 and texted Jeremiah’s mother that her son had a gun.

Less than two weeks later, police say Jeremiah shot and killed Camar Cordero, 17, right after he got off a school bus at North Sixth and Emerald streets…
