SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Warmer weather is on the way for much of San Diego County, with temperatures climbing through Thursday before a cooler pattern returns for the weekend.
Inland valley communities will see the biggest warm-up over the next few days as high pressure builds across Southern California. Temperatures in the valleys, mountains, and deserts are expected to rise 5 to 10 degrees above average by Wednesday and Thursday. Coastal areas will also warm, reaching about 3 to 6 degrees above normal.

While afternoons will feel warmer, the familiar marine layer is sticking around but not as deep as last week. It will reach the western valleys overnight and into the early morning.
Nighttime and morning low clouds and patchy fog will continue along the coast and spread into portions of the valleys through Wednesday morning. By Thursday, the marine layer is expected to become shallower, with clouds mainly limited to western valley communities…
