GOODWILL shoppers have been warned about a strict rule affecting several stores across America.

The thrift giant says the measure is designed to keep things fair for customers hunting for bargains – and some branches are even asking shoppers to help enforce it.

The policy limits when employees can buy donated items themselves, with some locations banning workers from shopping in certain circumstances to stop what Goodwill calls potential “dishonesty”.
