Three teens accused of killing friend in failed drive-by offered plea deals

Syracuse, N.Y. ― Three teens accused of accidentally killing their 15-year-old friend in a failed drive-by shooting were offered plea deals Tuesday.

Torrin Brown, Quinntone Moore and Uzziah Murray are accused of fatally shooting Deron McGee on Aug. 12, 2024 outside an apartment complex in Syracuse. They were all traveling in a stolen Hyundai Sonata when they tried to shoot pedestrians but instead hit McGee, prosecutors have said.
