U.S. agriculture secretary vows at CNY event to bring dairy farmers’ concerns back to D.C.

GROTON, N.Y. (WSYR) — Central New York’s dairy farmers traveled to Carey Farm to discuss a myriad of challenges they are facing with United States Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins.

A dairy farmer has an around-the-clock job, working 365 days a year. The job can be gratifying, but it can also be an ongoing battle for generational farmers who work to keep their families’ legacies going with rising costs looming.
