Susan Crossett’s first job out of college was as a recruiter at CPS Recruitment, a Liverpool staffing firm owned by Laurie Liechty. They stayed in touch and, years later, Crossett became a consultant.
In 2020, Crossett bought the company and became CEO. It was a short honeymoon. “Ten weeks later, the pandemic hit,” she says. “We lost a lot of business.”
