Arson investigators seek tips on suspect in two North Bexar County fires

SAN ANTONIO – Arson investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify a man suspected of intentionally setting two fires in North Bexar County last month.

The Bexar County Fire Marshal’s Office said the person of interest was last seen fleeing a local church near Overlook Parkway and U.S. Highway 281 on Tuesday, May 19.

Officials described the man as light-complexioned and possibly in his 20s. At the time, he was wearing a black and gray baseball cap, a black San Antonio Spurs T-shirt featuring the No. 1, dark basketball shorts, and black-and-white sneakers. He was also carrying a black backpack…
