University of Oregon Board of Trustees approves deficit budget

EUGENE, Ore. — In a unanimous vote, the UO Board of Trustees approved the university’s 2026 budget.

The budget reflects a $65 million deficit, which the university has to either cut costs or raise tuition to cover.
