Kitten Thrown From Moving Vehicle in Hanahan; Authorities Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

HANAHAN, S.C. — Hanahan Animal Control and the Hanahan Police Department are asking for the public’s help after a kitten was thrown from a moving vehicle Wednesday morning — an act investigators are calling a serious case of animal cruelty.

The incident occurred between 9:30 and 10 a.m. on Henry E. Brown Jr. Boulevard near the bridge, officials said. Witnesses reported seeing a kitten tossed from the passenger window of a gray or dark‑colored minivan or SUV, which then turned right onto Yeamans Hall Road.
