New Clearwater Adopt-a-Drain program aims to protect environment, reduce flooding

CLEARWATER, Fla. — A new program offered by the City of Clearwater aims to protect the environment and help reduce localized flooding.

Efrain Martinez has long worked to keep storm drains cleared in his Clearwater neighborhood. But he recently made it official, signing up to participate in the Adopt-a-Drain program.
