A teen from Michigan was enjoying a casual walk in her peaceful community when a stranger in a dark SUV attacked her out of nowhere.
The 14-year-old victim was traveling on foot in Kentwood on May 12 when the car pulled alongside her, according to investigators. Chilling surveillance footage captured the moment 29-year-old suspect John Moore bolted from his vehicle to launch a violent, erratic physical attack against the young girl.
The brave teenager managed to fight off Moore, a repeat sex offender. She inflicted minor wounds on the attacker before he sped away from the scene in his vehicle, according to investigators.
