Grand Rapids‘ 61st District Court has announced a one-month amnesty program aimed at helping those who are late on paying traffic tickets or court fines, and resolving associated warrants.

Grand Rapids’ 61st District Court Amnesty Program
This year’s amnesty program runs from June 1 until June 30, 2026. During that time, those who have old court fees and fines, late fees, bench warrant fees, and/or show case fees may be able to have those waived. If a person qualifies, they will only be responsible for paying the original amount of the ticket.
Which Cases Are Eligible for Grand Rapids’ 61st District Court Amnesty Program?
Eligible cases include adjudicated misdemeanor cases, traffic tickets, and civil infractions (including those with bench warrants for failure to pay).
